Come Adventuring

Last Thursday I wrote a post on Tech Raving about how SocialSpark increased the traffic to it. With the launch I was also given the chance to post on Sparks as well. In order not to dilute Tech Raving I decided to stand up a new site, Come Adventuring is born!

That was only part of the reason however. On Tech Raving I usually talk about technology and do so randomly, with Come Adventuring I can just blab about my daily life. The other reason is that I wanted to see if SocialSpark really does bring in traffic as quick as I posted on Tech Raving.

So Come Adventuring is not a new domain to me as I’ve had it for over a year. It was only originally used a link portal, then just a default install of Wordpress for about 9 months now. No submissions to any of the search engines. Basically this is a fresh domain with no traffic. Although surprisingly I do have a page rank of 1.

For now I am going to keep any widgets off the site as it’ll be easier to figure out where the traffic is coming from, i.e. search results or SocialSpark. So sit back and enjoy, or not, the inner workings of who I am!
